Traversing limits
- The purpose is to stop the traversing of machine at the end of tracks.
- The limits are incorporated in both the wheels to activate limiting of traversing on both the direction of traverse.
- The activation of limit switch sends signal to the control panel to stop the traversing function.
- The system also houses a mechanical buffer to stop slewing beyond required in case one or both of the limits fail.
