- The requirement of anemometer is mandatory for heavy BMU ‘s having large surface area inviting the wind loading.
- Also it is safe measure to implement an anemometer in order to prompt the operator of the wind conditions.
- The wind speed can be set and programmed into PLC of BMU such that when the preset speed is reached the operation of the BMU can be stopped with an audio alarm.
- The stopping can be programmed in way that the operator shall be allowed to be brought back to safety before the operations are suspended.
